Often vernissages, exhibitions or the like where people use the occassion to go somewhere new, drink cheap sparkling wine or becks and chat while a hobby-dj is spinning experimental records – and 80% of the people have lived in Berlin less than two years.
I don’t want to sound offensive. Just trying to describe it. It can be quite fun!
My friend Stéphen is throwing one of these events in his gallery tonight. So if you don’t know what I’m talking about but want to experience it yourself – go to Friedrichshain. I would if I were in Berlin. Not only because it’s Stéphen (and therefor cool) but because we should all go somewhere new sometimes.
