A new exhibition by Yoko Ono is coming up at Haunch of Vision. The vernissage is on September 9th.

Below is Ono’s statement about her exhibition. Sounds like art I understand, hence it could be worth a visit.

I’d like to draw awareness to all the violence that is happening all over the world. I ask the people who come and visit the exhibition to bring something of their own personal experience with violence: a picture, or a text, that will then be placed on the gallery wall. In the upper floor, however, there will be a room where one only smiles

A must see in Berlin. Neues Museum. Completely restored and rebuilt by British architect David Chipperfield and his team over a period of twelve years. Finished October 2009.

With one gallery next to the other you can easily spend hours there, cogitating about every single painting, photo, sculpture or installation. Exhibition programme on the website.

I just go there for people watching and free prosecco. Ok, sometimes the art as well. As long as we all have fun!
