Went there ages ago. Some time last fall. But I’m pretty sure nothing has changed since then.

Worth a visit if you want to escape the Prenzlauerberg/Mitte crowd, enjoy solid food, great coffee, a variety of teas, and get the feeling of an “out of town breakfast”.

Unfortunately the bistro style decor doesn’t reach the same level but then there’s take away – or tables outside in Summer.

I’m probably just being ignorant and condemnatory but for example; vegans who wear leather shoes? Do it right or don’t do it at all.

Anyway! Vegan or not, the little wonders from Vux have totally won me over! The decadent cake place is celebrating their 1 year birthday on Sunday, October 3rd and you’re invited! (Not sure I am after my anti-vegan statement?).

So fancy some alcohol-free champagne? Richardstraße 38 after 12 pm. If you wan’t to dance it off afterwards there’s quite a nice line-up at Panorama….

Tested it on Monday: Excellent coffee + yummy croissant + non-Berliner service (which I see as a plus) = a place to return to.

Sandwiches looked mouthwatering as well. Good thing I’m lucky enough to have my office in their lunch box delivery zone (within Oranienstraße, Torstraße and Rosenthalerstraße).

Btw since the sun has decided to shine somewhere else than in Berlin (for good?) check out the Shades of Love project!

Very unpretentious decor but great food for the price. Where else can you get a proper lunch for two including tips for €11? Salads, pierogis, curd cheese pancakes…choose yourself, imbiss style.

Maybe the Scandinavian definition of “a solid, high quality brunch” differs from the German? Or I’m too picky. The search goes on. Tips are most welcome!
