For the Twin Peaks fans amongst you: Kleine Reise celebrates in best “Red Room” style tonight.
Easy costume: wrap you head in plastic, use some of that glitter left over from the Bar 25 season, grease up your hair and you’re good to go!

- gold as well. The charming face of Volksluxus actually hides a workshop. Every Tuesday and Wednesday 18:00 – 21:00 you can (learn how to) make your own jewellery under guidance of a pro silversmith.
€15 an hour. €10 if in a class of three. Melt and re-design jewellery you don’t use or buy materials there.
A new hobby to keep you busy in those long winter evenings…

Kreuzberg, Berlin

Nørrebro, København
Spotted in Oranienstraße the other day.

This used to be my roommate’s “desk”. The guys moved out of their old studio last month to build a new one in Kreuzberg.
The things that this desk has seen (…). I think, a music studio is like a man cave. Holy land. And women are not really allowed. Only on special occasions.
Facing the Sun by Fritz Kalkbrenner. Out on 01.10.10!
Don’t miss Fritz’s release party at Watergate on Wednesday!

Farbfernseher is back after the summer break. Tonight: Special birthday celebration for the spunky ones. Starts at 20:00; Ends when you have to leave for work on Wednesday.
Line-up:
Tim Sargent
Gareth Williams
Diandre Langlais
Mark Henning
Martin Dawson

Thanks to the people behind Pale Blue Door for a fantastic night last week! Was so impressed by the construction work! Everything was perfect. People even sung happy birthday! Yes, there was a small confusion.
I really struggled with the red light when taking photos. Which is why some of them are b/w. Have a look at the website to see Manuel Vazquez’ photos of the stunning piece of heaven.
+: Am now addicted to horseraddish creme fraiche.

…of a random building in Manteufelstraße.
I have a habit of entering random court yards to see what is hiding. These photos are from a 25 sqm concrete yard in Kreuzberg.
Thank god for laid back – or non-existing – land lords.

- you almost certainly will. But that’s the price you pay when you go look for finds at a €1 store.
Honestly lots of not very useful stuff but how great a pleasure you get when you find just the thing you didn’t know you needed – for ONE EURO! I even found three!
Trödel Agentur (Kreuzberg) Birthday celebration. This week, every day from 12:00.
